Case Study:
Red Rhino Bummy Cream
Adam Waechter came to Chemir because he wanted to formulate his own diaper rash ointment. After talking with him about what characteristics he wanted in his diaper rash product and offering suggestions, our chemists were ready to start the project. Mr. Waechter submitted three competing diaper rash ointments, each with an attribute that he wanted to reproduce. Our lead formulator then created the new product and submitted it to him.
Soon after, the Mr. Waechter called back and said he would need two more products, a baby bath and baby lotion, before his buyer would see him. He sent in samples of a competitor's baby bath and lotion as guidelines and both products were duplicated. A few days later he called us raving about the products.
