Chemir welcomes our new colleagues at Evans Analytical Group, in addition to two new employees at our Maryland Heights, MO laboratory. Also, On June 15 Aaron Cassely will be presenting a webinar on “Analysis of Contaminants and Competition: Handling R&D Roadblocks.”
On April 4, 2011, Evans Analytical Group announced the acquisition of Chemir Analytical Services, along with our sister companies CAS-MI Laboratories and Cyanta Analytical Services. We will now be known as Chemir, A Division of Evans Analytical Group. Several of our employees have been traveling to the various EAG locations, and meeting the staff at the Sunnyvale, CA and Minneapolis, MN laboratories. We’ve also hosted visits from several EAG staff members at our facilities. We welcome our new colleagues at EAG, and look forward to collaborating on projects in the future.
We also welcome two new employees at our Maryland Heights, MO laboratory. John V. Simpson, Ph.D. has accepted the position of Senior Analytical Chemist. John received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and is has extensive experience in method development and validation using LC/MS/MS, HPLC , IC, GC and UVRR. We also welcome Rachel Harris, MS. Rachel recently earned a Master of Science in Chemistry at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
On June 15, Aaron Cassely will be presenting a webinar entitled: “Analysis of Contaminants and Competition: Handling R&D Roadblocks.” On top of their regular research and development duties, analytical R&D teams are often asked to solve difficult problems, ranging from identifying a contaminant to investigating a competitor’s new product. Aaron will be presenting case studies illustrating situations where analytical R&D groups approached us to help with an off-odor, a contamination issue and a material identification.
