
As Vice President -Technology, Aaron Cassely helps customers solve difficult problems that require customized analytical testing. After discussing potential projects with clients he will design an investigational study and prepare project quotations. Aaron supervises projects, including data interpretations and report writing.
With experience at Chemir as a bench
chemist and Project Leader, Aaron has extensive
understanding of laboratory methods, design study and data interpretation. His analytical work has
been focused on developing and qualifying methods for the identification and/or quantitation of analytes
in various matrices.
He excels at projects involving deformulation, materials identification and contaminant analysis. Aaron
brings extensive hands-on experience with GC, HPLC, CE, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and sample preparation
techniques. In addition, he is skilled at data interpretation from NMR, GC/MS, LC/MS, ICP/OES, EDXA,
IC, and GPC.
Aaron earned a Masters of Science Degree from Indiana University where he concentrated in analytical
chemistry and biochemistry. His graduate research focused on the development of techniques for
studying biomolecule-ligand binding thermodynamics. While at Indiana University he obtained hands-on
experience with CE, HPLC, MALDI-TOF-MS and analyte derivatization.
Aaron participates in numerous litigation support activities including the design and preparation of
investigative studies and providing scientific expert testimony both in deposition and in the courtroom.
