Christopher J. Andren   

 

ST. LOUIS , MO (February 28, 2011 ) -Chemir Analytical Services, an investigational analytical laboratory, is pleased to announce Christopher J. Andren has rejoined the Chemir team as Senior Director of Technology. Mr. Andren will be responsible for interacting with clients, designing project strategies and providing cost proposals for customized solutions involving deformulation, material identification, failure analysis and litigation support.

During his previous 10 year stint with Chemir, Mr. Andren filled a variety of roles at Chemir and assisted clients from industries such as plastic and polymers, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and industrial and consumer products.

As part of Chemir’s team of technical directors, he will be on the front line of customer service speaking with new clients regarding their current analytical challenge, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction and effective communication.

Mr. Andren specializes in polymer formulations, including their identification, characterization and quantification. “Along with his polymer knowledge, Chris brings added analytical expertise in failure analysis and contaminant identification, as well as a solid reputation for strong customer service.” says David W. Riggs, PE, President of Chemir Analytical Services.

Christopher J. Andren began his career at AlliedSignal Research and Technology as a research and development chemist; and more recently served as a Staff Scientist in Research and Development at BASF Corporation, supervising a commercial development team in custom product formulations.
