New bench scale production services to be announced at HBA 2007
Chemir Analytical Services will announce bench scale production capabilities, as well as “turn-key” development support for home, health and beauty products at HBA 2007 in New York, NY. As experts in deformulation, or reverse engineering, Chemir’s independent analytical laboratory has long been a resource for the home, health and beauty, cosmetic and chemical industry. Due to customer demand, they will now provide scale-up and pilot batch production, as well as stability testing, ingredient consultation and analytical testing.
“When making first bench-top batches, we can make necessary adjustments to match the customer’s idea, and address any issues before large scale production,” says Christopher Palazzolo, Senior Formulation Scientist for Chemir Analytical Services. “At pilot scale, the batch is tested against product specifications, and adjusted further until specifications are met.” Palazzolo will be representing Chemir Analytical Services at HBA 2007, along with Eric Uffman, Ph.D., Project Leader-Customized Services. Both Uffman and Palazzolo will offer free formulation consultations, including discussions about deformulation, raw materials, production concerns, stability studies and packaging problems.
