Out of the thousands of independent, privately held, for-profit companies based in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area, Chemir/Polytech was recently honored as one of a select group of the fastest growing. The St. Louis Business Journal researches and publishes this ranking on an annual basis, and the information is also included in the annual book of lists. These companies qualified for the list if they had a three-year sales history with an increase in fiscal year 2001 over 2000 and revenue over $200,000 in fiscal year 1999. This special recognition targets companies that experienced consistent growth during the tough and changing economic climate of the past three years.
