New Division is Named Chemir Synthesis Services
St. Louis, MO, April 1, 2003 - Chemir Synthesis Services, the newest division of Chemir, now provides custom synthesis for specialty, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agricultural and for the polymer industries.
"Customers come to Chemir with a variety of synthetic projects because they don't have the time or resources to make these compounds themselves, for example in the early stages of a pharmaceutical development project", explains Dr. Raj Dhar, Senior Scientist, Chemir Synthesis.
Process research and development is also provided by Chemir Synthesis, including route selection/reagent selection, process optimization and development, cost and safety evaluation and competitive process evaluation. Process development can facilitate scale-up to pilot plant or production scale.
Chemir also offers specialized contract research services for clients on a short or a long-term basis, including structure determination, impurity identification and analytical method development.
