Chemir Analytical Services Receives St. Louis Top 50 Award
St. Louis, MO - For the ninth year in a row, Chemir Analytical Services has been awarded recognition for rapid growth and contributions to the greater St. Louis area. The Greater St. Louis Top 50 Award is presented by the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association and Deloitte & Touche. "Services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries has fueled much of our growth," says Shri Thanedar, Ph.D., CEO of Chemir. "Our Maryland Height's pharmaceutical testing laboratory was completed in early 2005, with several new instruments and major pieces of equipment. Construction is also underway on a new synthesis laboratory."
In addition to Chemir's economic impact, the award also recognizes the company's contributions to the community. Recent projects have benefited the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Salvation Army. This year Chemir and its employees donated almost $2,000 to the American Red Cross hurricane relief efforts through an internal fund-raising drive.
