Hint: Since 1972, most that are produced are "optic yellow" - research demonstrated that this color makes them more visible on television.
This image was generated at Chemir Analytical Services by an SEM. An SEM provides advanced scanning capabilities which allow its user to generate an image of a sample’s microscopic details. Chemir currently uses a JEOL JSM 6480 LV SEM which is capable of 3nm resolution.
