What's New at Chemir Analytical Services

New Hires

 

We welcomed two new chemists to Chemir this quarter, Elizabeth Wilson and Timothy Janota.  Previously a contract scientist at Pfizer, Elizabeth brings experience in protein purification, GMP requirements, FDA regulations and aseptic techniques. She is working with Dr. Rajesh Tiwari in the Customized Services group, helping clients solve difficult problems in a wide variety of industries.

Timothy Janota is working with the Specialized Services group at Chemir Analytical Services. He has experience analyzing many different consumer and industrial products, from pharmaceuticals to petroleum. We are especially pleased to have Tim’s experience as a Product Development Chemist, formulating and testing industrial and consumer cleaning formulations.

 

Promotions

 

Dr. Eric Uffman has been promoted to the role of Director – Technical Services. He will help new and existing clients solve their challenging issues by designing investigations and providing quotations. Previously a Project Leader, Eric has a broad range of experience working on a variety projects.

Rajesh Tiwari, Ph.D. is the new Project Leader for the Customized Services group. Dr. Tiwari has been with Chemir since 2003, working on numerous scientific investigations, including characterization and identification of materials. Rajesh now supervises a team of chemists ready to tackle non-routine analytical challenges.

 

Tour Chemir’s Laboratories
