Chemir Welcomes New Chemist

ST. LOUIS , MO (May 2010) - Shaun Loeffelman has joined Chemir Analytical Services as Senior Analytical Chemist. Shaun has extensive laboratory and chemical testing experience with GC and GC/MS instrumentation. He will work with Rachel Linck, Ph.D. in the Investigations Group, assisting with deformulation, contaminant identification, material identification and failure analysis projects.

Shaun recently completed his Master’s degree in Forensic Science at Nebraska Wesleyan University and he has worked for several years in crime lab settings.  “Shaun’s background in forensic chemistry is an excellent addition to our staff. Most of our projects are investigative and many involve legal issues. We welcome his analytical and forensic chemistry experience to Chemir,” says Dr. Linck.
