1959-2009: Chemir Analytical Services Turns 50!

Chemir Analytical Services is proud to announce its 50th anniversary of providing non-routine analytical solutions for difficult problems. Since 1959, the independent laboratory has worked with nearly 7000 clients worldwide. Chemir's scientists have helped companies with investigative projects involving deformulation (reverse engineering), contaminant identification, chemical analysis, materials identification, polymer testing, method development, reformulation, product development, failure analysis, litigation support and more.
"Dr. Clara Craver began Chemir as a small testing laboratory specializing in deformulation and materials identification," says Shri Thanedar, Ph.D., CEO of Chemir Analytical Services. After purchasing the company in 1990, Thanedar has expanded Chemir through acquisition of other laboratories, as well as by organic growth.
"Although the company is now much larger, we have stayed true to our goal of solving complex problems with customized chemical analysis. Our staff of analytical chemists, along with their technical expertise and interpretive skills has always been our greatest strength."
