Business Development Representative

Chemir Analytical Services is seeking a candidate to fill a newly created Business Development position.  The candidate should have a degree in Chemistry or related field and possess at least two to five years of sales/business development experience. The candidate will head the business developmental efforts primarily for the St. Louis, MO lab but may also work on select opportunities for the Ypsilanti, MI Lab, www.cas-mi.com.

The successful candidate will need to develop and implement sales plans, including customer visits and market analysis.  This is a newly created position and as such the candidate must be independent, motivated, and have excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills.  The candidate must be team-oriented and have the ability to develop new customers and existing customers.  This position will require approximately two weeks of travel per month.
Reporting relationship will either be to the Sr Sales/Marketing/Tech Services Director or the President depending on candidate skills and experience.

A 6-12 week orientation in St Louis and 2-3 week orientation in Ypsilanti, MI will be required during the initial phase of this assignment.
